Welcome to Beyond the Pages Travel
Bringing Stories to Life—One Journey at a Time
Beyond the Pages Travel was created for readers, dreamers, and travelers who have ever finished a book or film and thought, “I want to go there.”
This is a travel planning service built around stories—where destinations are chosen not just for where they are, but for what they mean. From classic literature and historic settings to film locations and immersive landscapes, every trip is designed to connect you with the places behind the stories you love.
As a book inspired travel planner, I focus on creating custom itineraries that go beyond standard sightseeing. That might mean exploring the English countryside connected to timeless novels, visiting iconic filming locations across the UK, Europe, New Zealand, and the US, or building a journey around the atmosphere, settings, and themes that drew you into a story in the first place.
Christina Haney
Fantasy Nerd, History Buff, and Detail-Obsessed Travel Planner
I’m a lifelong reader, homeschooling mom of nine, and former computer programmer who traded code for castles, coastlines, and story-filled destinations. This is what led me to become a book inspired travel planner.
I’ve always been drawn to the kinds of stories that stay with you—the ones with rich settings, unforgettable journeys, and places that feel just as important as the characters themselves. Over time, that love of story naturally connected with travel.
Now I help others experience those places in real life.
With a background in systems analysis, I bring a strong attention to detail and organization to every itinerary I design. But what matters most to me is helping you step into a place you’ve only ever imagined—and making it feel real, seamless, and thoughtfully planned.

Let’s build your next great story.
What Makes This Different
Most travel planning starts with a destination.
This starts with a story.
Instead of building trips around generic recommendations or pre-set packages, as a book inspired travel planner, I design travel based on your interests, the stories you connect with, and the kind of experience you want to have. Every itinerary is personalized, whether you’re planning a literary journey, a film-inspired trip, or a travel experience that simply feels like stepping into another world.
Through Beyond the Pages Travel, I work with trusted travel suppliers to coordinate accommodations, transportation, tours, and experiences—bringing everything together into a cohesive plan that’s easy to follow and tailored specifically to you.
What that often looks like in practice is a trip that blends well-known highlights with the details that make it feel personal. You might visit iconic filming locations, then spend time in the surrounding towns, landscapes, and historic sites that give those places context. You might pair a literary destination with local experiences—like cafés, walking tours, or smaller stops—that reflect the setting and atmosphere of the story itself.
The goal is to create a travel experience that feels connected and intentional, not rushed or surface-level—so when you return home, it doesn’t feel like you just visited a destination. It feels like you experienced it.
Let’s Plan Your Story
If you’ve ever wanted to walk through the setting of a favorite book, visit the locations behind a film or series, or experience a destination in a way that feels more meaningful than a typical trip, you’re in the right place.
Your story already exists.
Now it’s time to step into it.
